Job Description Domestic Violence Counsellor

This position is a full-time, contract position* reporting directly to the Clinical Team Lead Counsellor. The Domestic Violence Counsellor supports all areas of the organization related to domestic violence. The successful candidate will divide their time in supporting the Right Here, Right Now counselling program as well as the work of the St. John’s Women’s Centre more generally. This work includes program development, individual support and counselling, group work and community training/education. We are searching for a passionate feminist who would like to work as part of a small team from a feminist, trauma-informed perspective.

*We hope that this position will be permanent; however, we are advertising as a contract until March 31 as renewal is funding dependent.
