HIRING: Community Support Worker (part time)

SHOP is opening up a part time position for a Community Support Worker! The Community Support Worker is responsible for the delivery of individual and program related support services to participants of Safe Harbour Outreach Project (SHOP) We connect with people involved in the sex trade in St. John’s and surrounding areas and you will be an important part of making that happen! Your job might include taking part in outreach walks, making dinner for the community, or contacting hair stylists to set up a pop up salon in the SHOP space, and more. You will work to develop and deliver programming that improves the lives of the sex working community in St. John’s – and that is important work!

Hours of Work: 24 hours per week, including possible evenings and weekends including possible evenings and weekends, regular schedule will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays. With changes to this depending on program and workers needs.
